| 1 | pound | potatos, peeled and cut into 3/4 inch chunks | | 2 | cups | Best Foods or Hellman's Real Mayonnaise | | 4 | tablespoon | dill pickle juice | | 1 | teaspoon | salt | | 1 | teaspoon | onion powder | | 1 | teaspoon | garlic powder | | 1/2 | teaspoon | pepper | | 6 | | eggs, hard cooked, chopped | | | | Dill pickles, cut up |
| directions | In 4 quart saucepot, cover potatoes with water; bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain and cool slightly.
In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, pickle juice, salt, onion, garlic, and pepper. Add potatoes, pickles, and eggs and toss gently. Dress with Paprika. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, I will say that Best Foods/Hellman's (same company) Mayonnaise does make the best potato salad. You really can tell the difference. |
